you can personally discover...we are not alone."

Shamanism has no supreme “being” or god to whom they worship and come to for assistance. However, because Shamanism is based on how nature and the environment play a major role on Shamans’ lives and the lives of the community, Shamanism is a religion that taps into the power of Mother Earth. Shamans look to nature and their surroundings to get them through life. Mother Earth is their supreme power and how all things are possible. In addition, Shamans believe that all life is made of light. “We are all light. Everything is light. In remembering this we can transmute everything in our outer environment and what we take in to pure healing light.”
Powers and Special Gifts
Shamanism is a very selfless religion. Shamans are very concerned with the health of the individual and the health of the entire community. This includes: all animals, plants, people, and all types of life. Shamans are not superheroes with magical powers. However, due to their deep connection with nature, some Shamans obtain certain “powers”to help them assist and help others. For example, Shamans are considered psychics, gurus, magicians and healers. There are Shamans who have the ability to diagnose and cure human suffering including treating illness and sickness. Shamanism teaches that everything manifest on a spiritual level before it manifests on the physical. In order to have power to create change on the planet, Shamans must incorporate spiritual practices into their lives.
