What's Right and What's Wrong?
Like many other religions such as, Christianity, Judaism or Islam, Shamanism has no exact moral code, or rules and regulations that must be followed in order to be considered a Shaman. Shamanism does however, have certain beliefs that if someone does not believe them then those thoughts would be considered the wrong thoughts according to shamans. For example, people who do not believe that all things, human and non-human, are connected to each other, these people have the wrong thinking about life. To add, for people who believe that life is only what the eye can see, these people also have a wrong thinking because Shamans deeply believe in the spirit world, spirits and the other-worldly entities present in our world.
"Shamanism is a path of knowledge, not of faith, and that knowledge
cannot come from me or anyone else in this reality. To acquire that knowledge,
including the knowledge of the reality of the spirits, it is necessary
to step through the shaman's doorway and acquire empirical evidence."
